LPW - Elgin, 11J, 8S, very heavy 14K multicolor gold box hinge original HC with exquisite engraving detail, rear with multicolor floral scene having five inset diamonds surrounding a cabochon ruby at center, front with initialed rose gold shield surrounded by green foliate detail, gold cuvette with a glazed photo bezel, hexagonal pendant, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, gilt mvt, s#1882083. Gross weight of assembled watch 54.8 dwt (85.3 g). An impressively heavy and remarkably beautiful multicolor gold pendant watch.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking sluggishly on a full wind, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some micro-fine scratches and small areas of haze to plate surfaces; dial with scattered hls; excellent hands of mismatched color, hour and minute are blue, seconds-hand is plum colored; case shows hardly any wear, scratches to front-right of pendant, scratches to bezel at bottom and near 11, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
